Abstract

The Influence of Curriculum Strengthening and the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Textbooks on Students’ Learning Achievement at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Mojogedang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year

This study aims to analyze the influence of curriculum strengthening and the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) textbooks on the learning achievement of students at Pondok Pesantren Darusalam Mojogedang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of 30 students, who also served as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and correlation tests.
The findings reveal that strengthening the PAI curriculum significantly contributes to improving the quality of learning by integrating pesantren values with modern educational needs. The structured and interactive implementation of PAI textbooks effectively facilitates the learning process, enhances motivation, and encourages active student participation. Statistical tests show a positive and significant relationship between curriculum strengthening and textbook implementation with students’ learning achievement across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
In conclusion, a relevantly strengthened curriculum combined with the effective application of PAI textbooks can improve students’ learning achievement and support the objectives of Islamic education in pesantren.
